The 2025 Teacher’s Month Celebration with the theme “My Teacher, My Hero” reminds us of the valuable role that teachers play in shaping our minds and our futures. Teachers are not just individuals who teach lessons inside classrooms—they are true heroes who dedicate their time, patience, and energy to guide us through challenges and help us achieve our dreams. This celebration honors their selfless service and recognizes their lasting impact on society.


Teachers serve as the foundation of every learner’s success. They inspire students to believe in their potential, help them discover their strengths, and teach them how to overcome weaknesses. Despite the difficulties of modern education, including adapting to new technologies and diverse learning needs, teachers continue to show passion and resilience. Their ability to balance care, discipline, and motivation makes them everyday heroes in our lives.

To express my gratitude and respect for my teachers, I show appreciation through simple yet meaningful actions. I always make sure to listen attentively in class, submit my tasks on time, and show respect both inside and outside the classroom. I also like to write thank-you notes or messages to express how much I value their efforts. Even small gestures, like greeting them with a smile or saying “thank you,” can make a big difference in showing appreciation.

Teachers’ dedication goes beyond teaching academic subjects—they mold us into better individuals with values and integrity. Their influence shapes how we see the world and how we treat others. Because of their guidance, I have learned the importance of perseverance, humility, and kindness. These are lessons that no textbook can teach, but teachers can.

In conclusion, celebrating Teachers’ Month is not just about giving recognition, but about reminding ourselves of how teachers change lives every day. They are our heroes—not because they wear capes, but because they carry the weight of shaping our future generations. I will always be grateful to my teachers for their hard work, patience, and love for learning and teaching.

Waves of Changes Starts and Ends with Us

  Last weekend, our group went to Choco surf for a film activity. While we were there, I noticed that the beach was filled with trash. Plastics, bottles, and wrappers were scattered everywhere, making the place look messy and harmful to the environment. Because of this, I decided to join the coastal clean-up activity. Even though I was by myself, I did my part to help clean the beach. I picked up bottles, bags, and even bulky trash that was left behind. At first, it felt overwhelming because there was so much waste, but little by little, the areas I cleaned started to look much better. I gathered more trash than I expected, and the bags I brought weren’t enough to hold everything. Some of the garbage I had to place in the trash bins around the beach. It was tiring, but seeing the beach cleaner afterward made all the effort worth it.
